All exposed edges are protected with 3 millimeter PVC edge banding that matches the laminate finish and helps guard against bumps and impact. Drawer fronts use 5/8-inch thick thermally fused melamine, while the drawer boxes are built from one-half-inch black vinyl board with a one-eighth-inch bottom panel. Reinforced metal brackets add structural integrity, and metal cam locks with connecting pins support durable field assembly. Integrated wire management grommets keep cords routed through the shell, and adjustable leveling glides provide up to one-half-inch of height compensation on uneven floors. The included pedestal is designed for hanging files and offers full-depth file storage with full-extension ball bearing slides for complete front-to-back access. File drawers are suspension-file ready and accept front-to-back letter files as well as side-to-side legal hanging files, with filing bars included. Soft-close drawer suspension is standard on all drawers for quiet, controlled closing. Keep your aisle open so people can move at peak hours.
